BOTANIKA METALLIKA
For man, as for flower and beast and bird, the supreme triumph is to be most vividly, most perfectly alive.
-David Herbert Lawrence
It strikes me that people attach all sorts of meanings to flowers and other flora and fauna, hence the names they have been given. But these flora, like everything in nature, live in the present. A flower doesn’t see itself as “budding,” “at its peak,” then “decaying.” It simply exists. Counter-intuitively, in isolating them you take away the associations and let people again experience them in the present, as they actually exist in nature.
- You started it
- Well knock me down
- Don't mind me
- See you in the morning
- I'll be your boarder
- That's what she said
- Once a luminary
- Got a light?
- You can eat every mushroom once
- My heart didn't bleed at all
- It could have been worse
- It had nothing to do with Religion
