  • IN THE END

IN THE END is journey through a car wash where the viewer is isolated in the cabin and travels through the phases of mopping, soaping and rinsing. The contrast of layered shapes in motion forces a distance from what the process actually is to frame abstract patterns created by air and water.

Lilies are thought to symbolize chastity and virtue, in this mirrored composition the lilies rebuild, thus restoring virtue only to lose it again leaving the viewer to realize the inevitable passage of time.
